God and the Others
Dans un contrat de réservation d’hôtel:
Infotel accepts no responsibility for the cancellation, alteration or
curtailment of any booking made as a result of matters beyond reasonable
control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disaster, fire
and any other destruction of any accommodation booked, riots, acts of war or
civil commotion, exercise of legislative, municipal, military or other
authority, strikes, industrial action or any other reason beyond the control
of Infotel.
“Act of God or act of nature is a legal term for events outside of human control, such as sudden floods or other natural disasters, for which no one can be held responsible. This does not protect those who put others in danger of acts of God through negligence, such as an adult who instructs a group of children to stand under a tree to escape a lightning storm”.
Ouais, il y a des clauses comme ça dans tous les trucs d’assurances…
